One of the options available with leasing your next vehicle is whether or not to take out a Maintenance Contract. A full maintenance package can be added to your lease for a fixed additional monthly cost, to cover servicing, replacement tyres and other repair costs. This is not to be confused with the manufacturer warranty which is standard on all new vehicles.
Taking out a Maintenance Packages is to give you complete peace of mind to cover costs you may not have budgeted for when taking out a lease. Maintenance can be taken out on Personal Car Leasing Plans and Business Contract Hire to provide worry free motoring.
Common Maintenance Questions:
What is maintenance?
If the option of maintenance is included within the contract, this generally covers you for you annual car service and any wear and tear items which need replacing. (Damage is not included ie nail in tyre) Please check with us as some lease contracts can exclude tyres and exhausts.
Is maintenance beneficial to me?
You need to assess the overall cost across the contract term. Example Only: maintenance is £25.00 + vat = £30.00 per month, giving an annual contract cost of £360. Take into account your expected mileage and the cars individual service schedule; if unsure ask your local dealer the price for the services you expect to undertake and work out if it is beneficial to you. Some customers choose maintenance as it spreads the cost out over the contract term. (This is an example only)
Who would benefit from a Maintenance Contract?
Anyone and everyone would benefit from having a maintenance package subject to cost. Business Leases who own one car or a fleet may benefit from maintenance so not having to pay out for extra repairs. Private motorists benefit from worry free motoring and easy budgeting with no unexpected bills.
What options do I have with Maintenance?
The standard package includes maintenance, servicing and tyres but additional services can be added such as replacement vehicle cover.
